Begin from a preset before manual micro-tuning. This gives you a readable baseline quickly.
2) Calibrate Hierarchy and Indent View
Tune contrast and color levels so nested structures are immediately visible, especially in large JSON/YAML/TS files.
3) Connect AI Provider (Optional)
- local with Ollama, or
- cloud with an OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Then test one preset suggestion and apply it.
4) Define Team Rules
Agree on:
- allowed presets,
- minimum contrast standards,
- acceptable per-workspace exceptions.
5) Validate After 1-2 Days
Check whether you see less visual friction, better orientation in multi-repo workspaces, and cleaner consistency in team screenshots.
