Download and install Pixel Forge on your system.

Community (free)

  1. Download the Windows Setup.exe from GitHub Releases (https://github.com/timejunky/r4it_pixel_forge_release — installer only, no source code).
  2. Run the installer. Windows SmartScreen will often show Unknown publisher — that is expected (see below).
  3. Launch Pixel Forge — Convert works immediately without a key.

Windows SmartScreen

Windows may block Setup.exe with “Windows protected your PC”. Unknown publisher only means the installer is not yet Authenticode-signed — not that the file is unsafe.

For the official installer from GitHub or ready-4-it.com: More info → Run anyway. That is safe to do.

A code-signing certificate will ship in upcoming versions. After that, SmartScreen will show the publisher instead of “Unknown”.

Trial / Pro

  1. Purchase on ready-4-it.com (Payhip checkout).
  2. Download the licensed Setup.exe via My Licenses / streamingZebra (not the public GitHub release).
  3. Continue with the License guide to activate.

SmartScreen may warn with Unknown publisher — expected and safe for the official installer. A certificate comes in upcoming versions.
