First Steps

Start the Project HUD and confirm selected-chat pill sync.

1) Install Free (or Pro after Zebra)

Complete the Installation guide first. Pro users must also finish License + Download.

2) Start the Project HUD

Run hud:start (command palette or plugin command). The HUD window opens on Windows for Pro.

3) Confirm selected-chat sync

  1. Open an Agents chat in Cursor.
  2. Select that chat — the pill should update label and accent color.
  3. Switch to another chat — pill should follow the selection.

4) Configure markers

  • Free: open HUD Settings → pick an emoji marker.
  • Pro: upload a custom logo or enable pattern marker.

5) Optional AKC accent sync

If AKC is installed in the same workspace, CCC can mirror workspace accent colors.

6) Activate for Pro

Download the Zebra build first, then paste your activation key in the HUD to unlock Pro settings.

Requirements

Extension (Cursor + VS Code): Windows / macOS / Linux, VS Code engine 1.90+. Project HUD: Windows-only today (Windows PowerShell 5.1 + WinForms). macOS/Linux HUD is not shipped yet. Trial/Pro unlock: Zebra module akc_ccc + HUD activation.
