Quick Start with Codespots

Install Extension

1. Open VS Code
2. Go to Extension Management (Ctrl+Shift+X)
3. Search for "Codespots"
4. Click "Install"

Create Your First Bookmark

1. Open a file in VS Code
2. Click on the desired line
3. Use the Codespots icon in the Activity Bar
4. Give your bookmark a meaningful name

Navigate Between Bookmarks

• Codespots Explorer: Open the explorer in the Activity Bar
• Quick Navigation: Use Cmd+K to quickly switch between bookmarks
• Workspace Context: Bookmarks are stored locally per workspace

Pro Tips

• Organize bookmarks in folders by project
• Use descriptive names for quick recognition
• Bookmarks persist even after VS Code restarts

Requirements

Installation: VS Code öffnen → Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X) → Marketplace-ID in die Suche eingeben. Nur fuer VS Code getestet. Derivate wie Cursor bitte vor dem Kauf selbst pruefen.
