Code Spots offers a permanent Free tier, a 14-day Pro trial (no credit card), and paid Pro licenses.
Free is a real tool
These stay free forever (onboarding-critical):
- File, line, URL, VS command, and clipboard bookmarks
- Shared storage in Git (
.csvs/shared.json) - Assignment panel, Settings panel, drag & drop from Explorer
- Export of shared + plain personal data (backup/trust)
- Workspace root roles (★ Primary, 📚 Catalog) and catalog adoption into shared/personal
- Help panel in eight languages
Soft limits on Free
You can use existing items after the limit; only creating new items is blocked:

AI memory note
Copy-on-click works with any AI. Memory projection (Pro) writes managed files Code Spots owns; Copilot may consume local mirrors when Chat ≥ 0.38 and settings allow. Other clients: copy clips or use native rules.
